Commenting on the findings, sex and relationship psychotherapist Miranda Christophers told Mail+: ‘Young people put a huge emphasis on their “performance”. Sadly, there is far more focus on how they appear to the partner than just embracing and enjoying it. Porn is staged so therefore misses out talking about emotions, feelings and experiences, all of which could be far better when the education comes via a sex educator or parent.’
